Problem
This document offers various suggestions how to control the behavior of the translog when its size reaches a maximum.
Symptom
When the translog reaches its set maximum file size, there are certain behaviours noticeable:
- the log is cleared to 0 byte
- it creates a history file automatically
- it is not updated until someone removes or moves the file
