Troubleshooting
Problem
The MAIL-MIME service is not base64 encoding pdf file mail attachments, received PDF is not readable. In the BP execution, for the Mail Mime service in the Primary Document the PDF file attachments are being encoded as charset=CP1252, Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable. This causes email attachments received are to be unreadable and Adobe will post errors.
Symptom
PrimaryDocument
The MIME Header of the mail attachement you are getting:
------=_Part_14_20165147.1308584434420
Content-Type: text/plain; name="ci1307991475562.764561@llnap12_te.pdf";
charset=Cp1252 <br /> Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Content-Disposition: attachment;
filename="ci1307991475562.764561@llnap12_te.pdf"
You found document 1562775 and attempted to use the GetDocumentInfoService to set DocumentCharEncoding to base64 and DocumentContentType to text/plain, this was prior to the Mail Mime service, and following by the SMTP Send service. But base64 encoding still was not selected, so the received attachment remained unreadable after it was opened. This solution did not help.
Error Message
Received email attachments are unreadable and only post the following Adobe error when the attachment is opened:
'Insufficient data for an image', next I hit OK. Then there is another Adobe Reader error that says 'An error
exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem', next I hit OK and I'm just presented with a blank screen.
