Mac - Pop Up Blocker/Clear Cache Cookies

Thank you for contacting the IBM Global Support Center. We would recommend using either Safari or Mozilla Firefox browser for taking the assessments on Mac OSX 10.7.3 and above. It ?appears you are having an issue involving your internet browser. This can normally be corrected by clearing your browser?s internet cache & cookies and disable pop-up blocker.?
Before we are able to start the troubleshooting steps please safely log out of your session.
-Hold down the Command Option and?Esc keys at the same time
-Select the internet browser icon that you are accessing your assessment through
-Select Force Quit
-Repeat this step until all browser web pages are closed
Please Note: MAC OSX 10.5 is no longer supported. If you are running this operating system you will need to locate a different computer for testing. Unfortunately our assessments are not compatible with the Google Chrome Browser.
Please follow the instructions below to clear the browser?s Cache & Cookies and disable Pop-up Blocker. Please follow the steps provided for your web-browser:
If using Safari:
-Open Safari
-Click on Safari in the top left hand corner of your screen
-Select Preferences
-Click on the Security tab
-Uncheck the box that says Block pop-up windows
-Click on the Advanced tab
-Place a check-mark next to Show Develop Menu and close this window
-Select Develop from the Menu bar
-Click on Empty Caches
-Close completely out of Safari?
-Reopen Safari and attempt your test again
OR
-Click on History
-Click on Clear History
-Make sure All History is selected in the drop down menu
-Click on Clear History
-Close completely out of Safari?
-Reopen Safari and attempt your test again
If using Firefox:
-Open Firefox
-Click on Firefox in the top left hand corner of your screen
-Select Preferences
-Click on the Content tab
-Uncheck the box that says Block pop-up windows
-Click on the Privacy tab
-Under History click on the option which says: "Clear your? recent History"
-For Time range to clear select as "Everything"
-Under Details options check the box's that says "Cookies Cache and Browsing & Download History"
-Click on Clear Now option
-Close completely out of Firefox
-Reopen Firefox and attempt your test again

-Click on History
-Click on Clear Recent History
-For Time range to clear select as "Everything"
-Click on Clear Now option
-Close completely out of Firefox
-Reopen Firefox and attempt your test again
