Mac: CordovaError Gradle not found for Android in Rational Application Developer

Troubleshooting


Problem

When you attempt to run a Cordova project configured for the Android platform, you get an error in the console.

Symptom

You get the following error message:

"(node:7216) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: Unhandled promise rejection (rejection id: 1): CordovaError: Could not find an installed version of Gradle either in Android Studio, or on your system to install the gradle wrapper. Please include gradle in your path, or install Android Studio."
