Abstract
Starting in Fall of 2024, Google Workspace accounts will no longer support Google Sync. Google recommends you begin to transition your organization from Google Sync.

Google Workspace clients who use MaaS360 Secure Mail currently rely on Google Sync services to allow users to synchronize their work or school email, contacts, and calendars. With the discontinuation of Google Sync services, users may encounter synchronization issues with Secure Mail, Contacts, and Calendars. MaaS360 advises Google Workspace users who rely on Google Sync to switch from Secure Mail to Gmail to prevent connectivity problems.
To identify which devices in your organization are using Google Sync, access your Google Admin console and navigate to Devices > Mobile & Endpoints > Devices. At the top of the page, click + Add a filter and select Type > Google Sync.
