Question & Answer
Question
Does the "Encryption Level" field under "Device Security & Restrictions" refer to the device encryption level or the MaaS360 agent encryption level?

Answer
The field refers to the device encryption level, which changes depending on OS and enrollment mode. The MaaS360 agent is encrypted using 256-bit AES encryption regardless of the device level.
A few guidelines for encryption:
iOS always has full disk encryption enabled, this cannot be changed by users.
Android Enterprise devices will be forced to encrypt during enrollment if it is not encrypted out of the box.
Mac and Windows encryption can be forced on via MDM policies.
