Troubleshooting


Problem

Logging into Webshpere using user id wasadmin fails.

Symptom

Unable to login to websphere to perform required tasks for installing SRM.

Resolving The Problem

If you receive the following error logging into webshepre using user id wasadmin:


    "Login failed. Check the user ID and password and try again."

Verify that user id wasadmin was not created with an expiration date. If the date on the account has expired, you will received the above error. Also verify that the account has not been locked out..

You can go to Windows Local Users and Groups to see if wasadmin account is expired or locked out.
