Login and File Upload Failure

Troubleshooting


Problem

Customers who upgrade from B2BI v6034 to v6.1.0.x face the issue of login and file upload failure from myFileGateway 2.0 UI.

Symptom

This issue is encountered after you upgrade from v6.0.3.4 to v6.1.0.0, v6.1.0.1, v6.1.0.2, and v6.1.0.3.

Note:

  • This issue does not impact legacy myFileGateway UI.
  • This issue occurs only if you configure myFileGateway 2.0 before upgrade.
  • This issue only affects existing customers who are on 6034 and have installed B2BAPi jar that is bundled with 6034 media.

The following error message is displayed when trying to upload a file or log in to the myFileGateway 2.0 UI, on any one of the upgrade paths:
Error 500: javax.servlet.ServletException: Filter [springSecurityFilterChain]: could not be initialized.
Additionally on a cluster setup post upgrade, Customer can face the issue with login with similar error trace.

The Liberty console.log file displays the following sample error trace:
