The Load Builder workbench provides an efficient way tobuild truckload shipments. You can access and review optimizationrun output build orders into shipments manage pool points and cross-docklocations and perform a variety of shipping tasks.

Using Load Builder you can do the following tasks:

• Find unassigned orders and consolidate them into a larger shipment.
• Use the drag-and-drop feature to quickly select orders and assignthem to a shipment.
• Double-click a status event in an Execution dashboard to openLoad Builder. You can view the shipments associated with that eventand look for issues in your shipping workflow. For example you mightwant to drill down and find out why certain shipments were pickedup or delivered late.
• Select an optimization run on the Optimization Runs page and click LoadBuilder. When Load Builder opens you can review and approvethe shipments that were created by the run.
• View a Google map of the shipment route.
• Route orders and shipments through pool points and cross-docklocations.
• Combine shipments into larger shipments.
• Expand a shipment record to view the stops and orders associatedwith the shipment.
• Manage the tendering process for your shipments. Launch the CarrierSelection page view the Tender Status and print a Tender Confirmationsheet.
• Manually reorder the stops in a shipment route or have SterlingTMS optimize the route for you.
• Edit shipment attributes.
• Filter the Load Builder page to only show approved or unapprovedshipments.

The main Load Builder page provides a workbench where you can planthe shipping for your orders and shipments. The top table displaysthe shipments including the stops and orders that are assigned toeach shipment. The bottom table displays the orders that you wantto consolidate into shipments.
