Load Builder
The Load Builder workbench provides an efficient way to build truckloadshipments. You can access and review optimization run output buildorders into shipments manage pool points and cross-dock locationsand perform a variety of shipping tasks.
Using Load Builder you can do the following tasks:
- Find unassigned orders and consolidate them into a shipment.
- Combine shipments into larger shipments.
- Use the drag-and-drop feature to quickly select orders and assignthem to a shipment.
- Review the shipments built by the optimizer and then approve orreject the shipments.
- Double-click a status event in an Execution dashboard to openLoad Builder. For example you might want to drill down and find outwhy certain shipments were picked up or delivered late.
- View a Google map of the shipment route.
- Route orders and shipments through pool points and cross-docklocations.
- Expand a shipment record to view the stops and orders associatedwith the shipment.
- Manage the tendering process for your shipments. Launch the CarrierSelection page view the Tender Status and print a Tender Confirmationsheet.
- Manually reorder the stops in a shipment route or have Sterling TMS optimize theroute for you.
- Edit shipment attributes such as the payment method or equipmentsize.
