Question & Answer
Question
How do I define a message to appear immediately after every linux login
Answer
As the root user, edit the /etc/motd file and include any messages that you want to appear after initial log in. The motd (Message of the Day) file is displayed after initial log in.
For more details on motd, from the Linux command line run:
- man motd
