Symptom
Linux kernel is reporting "corrected ECC" errors in the kernel log, although no memory failures are reported in the Advanced Management Module (AMM) / Management Module (MM) event log.
Affected configurations
The system may be any of the following IBM servers:
- BladeCenter LS20, Type 8850, any model
- BladeCenter LS21, Type 7971, any model
- BladeCenter LS41, Type 7972, any model
The system is configured with at least one of the following:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, Update 5
This tip is not option specific.
The system has the symptom described above.
