Links in large lists broken when exporting to Excel using Cognos Analytics

Troubleshooting


Problem

When exporting report to Excel, hyperlinks in large lists do not export successfully and message is displayed:
We found a problem with some content in 'content'. Do you want us to try to recover as much as we can? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes.
When selecting Yes, report opens in Excel but hyperlinks do not work
