Linking an RRC collection to a RTC development plan results in an error: Cannot link to a development plan

Troubleshooting


Problem

Attempts to link an IBM Rational Requirements Composer (RRC) collection to a IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) development plan results in a "Cannot link to a development plan" error.

Symptom

Link a collection to a development plan. The expected result is that the link will be created successfully. The actual result is that an error message appears.

The full error message is as follows:

Cannot link to a development plan.
Details show:
ID CRRW7250W The configured change management provider does not support development plans.
