Question

(Legacy Interface) How can I use IBM Digital Analytics to compare the performance of different Browsers?

Answer

Browser performance can be measured by using the IBM Digital Analytics Explore tool and using a "Segment Compare" report.

You would firstly need to select the option to create a Segment Compare report from within IBM
Digital Analytics Explore. Then you will need to create each of the Segments that you wish to use in the report:

First enter the category and name of the 1st segment (e.g.: Browser is IE 7.0).
Then select the segment criteria as ?Browser Type?.
Then enter the name of the browser you would like to analyze. Please note he correct way to enter it for Internet Explorer Browser is "IE" followed by a "_" and then the version number? Eg?? IE_7.0?? ?
Repeat this step for the other Browsers that you would like to analyze remembering that in a Segment Compare report you can compare up to 10 segments at the same time.

Finally select your metrics date range and name the report. ?
