Troubleshooting
Problem
The SQL database with large size fails with 'A nonrecoverable I/O error occurred on file "TDPSQL-xxxxxxxx-xxxx:" 995(The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request.).'
Symptom
In tdpsql.log:
Backup of DB_NAME failed.
ACO5422E Received the following from the MS SQL server:
An exception occurred while executing a Transact-SQL statement or batch. Read on "G:\MSSQL\DATA\DB_NAME.mdf" failed: 1117(The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.)
A nonrecoverable I/O error occurred on file "TDPSQL-00002980-0000:" 995(The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request.).
BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally. Changed database context to 'master'. (HRESULT:0x80131501)
Read on "G:\MSSQL\DATA\DB_NAME" failed: 1117(The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.)
BACKUP failed to complete the command BACKUP DATABASE DB_NAME.
