Problem

Key Performance Indicator (KPI)?Scorecard weighting explained.

Solution
If weights are not involved the calculation of KPI Scoreboards is:? (sum of KPI events / base activity count).?

In the case of weights the following logic is applied:?? Calculate base weight - 100% / # of KPI events.

In a case of 4 events this means they should all have 25% as a base weight.

Calculate weighted count - event count * (event weight / base weight)

Calculate rating sum of weighted counts / base activity count.

For increase or decrease is preferable this just means which way the grades go. If an increase is preferable grades go downward since high values are good (that is >90% = A).? If a decrease is preferable grades go upward since low values are good (that is <10% = A).

In the case of the summary row the include/exclude zeroes and such uses the weighted counts and calculates the appropriate value (whatever is configured sum or average).
