Problem
The Multinomial Logistic Regression and Ordinal Regression procedures have a KERNEL option which "displays the value of -2 log-likelihood", according to the SPSS Syntax Reference Guide, whereas "the default is to display the full -2 log-likelihood". What is the kernel of the -2 log-likelihood? Why is it different from the full -2 log-likelihood?
