Problem

IBM JVM 1.6.0 used within IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software 7.5, WebSphere Application Developer 7.0 or WebSphere Portal 6.1 on WebSphere Application Server 7.0 crashes with GPF (General Protection Fault) within JVM PacketDispatcher during debugging.

Symptom

JVM crashes when debugging a multi-threaded application and doing step over and suspending or resuming threads.
