JazzSM Widgets encounter the error ATKRST132E when attempting to gather data from the DataProvider at the TEPS.



Error seen in the JazzSM Dashboard:

ATKRST132E An error occurred while transferring a request to the following remote provider: 'ITMSD'. Error

Message is '500:Cannot access data provider - ITMSD'.


Error seen in the SystemOut.log at the TEPS (DataProvider):

[1/31/18 14:42:59:236 EST] 0000004e amq           E initializeRemote unexpected exception  javax.jms.JMSException: Wire format negotiation timeout: peer did not send his wire format.

Caused by: Wire format negotiation timeout: peer did not send his wire format.





JazzSM DASH 3.1.3 CP5(and beyond)  bundles an updated version of ActiveMQ that is not bundled with the TEPS (as of ITM 6.3 Fixpack 7).   


The versions of ActiveMQ and not compatiable which will cause errors when JazzSM Widgets attempt to pull data from the DataProvider at the TEPS.

Resolving The Problem

Roll back the activeMQ at the JazzSM server using the script (

Contact IBM Support in order to receive a copy of the script.

Running the script at the JazzSM server.


This procedure assumes you have DASH 3.1.3 CP5 installed.


  1. Copy the script to any directory on the server and make sure it has execute permissions for the OS user who installed DASH. IBM recommends copying the script to <JazzSM Home>/ui/Patches.
  2. Stop DASH.
  3. Run the attached script. For example:   ./
  4. Start DASH.
