Abstract
All versions of JazzSM still using deprecated versions of Apache ActiveMQ libraries

JazzSM currently dependent on traditional WebSphere and IBM Java 8 (which is provided through traditional WebSphere). To use higher version of ActiveMQ libraries, minimum java version required is Java 11.
To meet security standards, IBM is working on certifying JazzSM on WebSphere Liberty, which supports Java 17. This remains work in progress and based on our initial assessment, we are targeting to achieve certification in Q1’26. In the meantime, the recommendation is to continue using ActiveMQ version 5.16.7. If any vulnerability is reported for this version, please create a Salesforce ticket, and IBM will attempt to resolve the issue on Java 8.
