Troubleshooting
Problem
Administrator logs onto Controller application server, and launches "Controller Configuration". Administrator opens "Database Connections" and chooses database. Administrator clicks green 'tick' box - the connection succeeds. However, when the administrator launches "Database Conversion Utility" and connects to Controller database, an error appears.
Symptom
java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: could not resolve the connect identifier
