Troubleshooting
Problem
When you stop the DMZ Secure Proxy Server for IBM WebSphere Application Server, the following error message occurs in the []SystemErr.log[
] file:

Exception in thread "Thread-7" java.lang.SecurityException: Could not lock User prefs.Lock file access denied.

]
This problem occurs with versions of the Application Server prior to Version 7.0.0.3.
