java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: invalid UUID errors

Troubleshooting

Problem

HTTP 400 Bad Request error occurs when you click links information or display a specific view in IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next (DNG). Some users are more affected than others.

You might encounter the error performing specific steps that frequently, but do not always, reproduce the problem. For example,

1. Click artifact 123456 from module ABC.
2. The artifact displays.
3. Select the Links section in the right panel.

4. It says "Links (Loading)" and then the HTTP 400 error is shown in the browser.

Symptom

The error includes "multi-fetch" and always ends with java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: invalid UUID.

ID CRRRW7553E A message that was received from the server indicates an error with no specific handler.
