Troubleshooting
Problem
Java Runtime Version Mismatch error appears in the IBM Rational(R) Robot Console window when testing an HTML or Java application with a GUI script. For example, Java Runtime Version Mismatch: Expected (8.0.0.5) Actual (8.0.0.7) appears
Cause
The Java Runtime Environment (JRE) used to run the application is enabled with a Java Enabler that is out of sync with Robot
Resolving The Problem
Rerun the Java Enabler.
- Select Start > Programs > Rational Software > Rational Test > Java Enabler
- Make sure that Robot is closed before running the enabler
- The Java enabler must be rerun whenever a new JRE is installed that will be used to run an application being tested by Robot
