Troubleshooting

Problem

When performing Java Profiling (e.g., Execution Time Analysis, Memory Analysis, Thread Analysis, and Probe Insertion) in Rational Application Developer (RAD) 10.0.0 on a remote WebSphere Application Server 8.5.5 (on Windows), and the target server unexpectedly stops and cannot be restarted, the issue is typically related to incompatible profiling agent configuration or native library loading failures.

Symptom

Result:

After initiating Execution Time Analysis or Thread Analysis, the Remote WebSphere Application Server enters a stopped state.
