ipclean for DB2 Windows

Question & Answer

Question

If the DB2® software is terminated unexpectedly, the next time you enter the []db2start[] command, []db2ipccm[] may panic due to an IPC resource problem. You can see the following entry in db2diag.log: [] 2012-02-02-05.05.12.010000+540 I144961F426 LEVEL: Severe PID : 8228 TID : 9084 PROC : db2syscs.exe INSTANCE: DB2 NODE : 000 EDUID : 9084 EDUNAME: db2ipccm FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, base sys utilities, sqle_panic, probe:10 MESSAGE : sqle_panic: Panic/sleep = DATA #1 : Hexdump, 4 bytes 0x000007FFFCE00204 : 0000 0000 [] Usually, resources can be cleaned up with the []ipclean[] command. But if the []ipclean[] command does not exist in Windows™, how can IPC resources be cleaned up without a reboot ?
