"Invalid response from OpsServer or Timeout retrying" Message During Startup

Troubleshooting


Problem

While attempting to restart IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi), the process appears to hang just after the message "Pre-Register node1" with repeated error messages of "Invalid response from OpsServer or Timeout retrying"

Symptom

  • In the command line window, there are repeated error messages of "Invalid response from OpsServer or Timeout retrying" after the normal message of "Pre-Register node1".
  • Never get to "Starting SI Server node1" in the startup.
  • In a clustered situation, startup of all the nodes may stop at the same place.
