Troubleshooting
Problem
Login with userid and password and see a blank white page that states "null"
Symptom
BMXAA4210E - Database error number 208 has occurred. Invalid SQL queries are logged in the log file. Check the SQL query to identify the error.
Invalid object name 'osused'
Cause
updatedb.bat was not run after applying fixpack
Diagnosing The Problem
Review systemout.log for error.
Check the version in both the directory structure and the database and make sure they match.
select varvalue from maxvars where varname = 'MAXUPG';
run version.bat from ...ibm\smp\maximo\applications\maximo
Resolving The Problem
Run updatedb.bat from smp\maximo\tools\maximo to update the database, re-attempt login and problem should now be resolved.
