Invalid Object Name configuring IMS DB with MS SQL 2008

Troubleshooting


Problem

The IMS configuration of Database fails with pre-defined user id when database is MS SQL 2008.

Symptom

The following error is seen:

Error 500: javax.servlet.ServletException: Error creating bean with
name '<uid>' defined in file [C:\Program
Files\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01\installedApps\<cellname>\TAM E-SSO
IMS.ear\com.ibm.tamesso.ims-delhi.webapp-accessAdmin.war\WEB-INF\class
es\config\accessAdmin\spring\jsf-managed-beans.xml]: Instantiation of
bean failed; nested exception is
org.springframework.beans.BeanInstantiationException: Could not
instantiate bean class [encentuate.ims.ui.beans.AdminUser]:
Constructor threw exception; nested exception is
encentuate.ims.data.ImsDataStoreException:
com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Invalid object name
'IMS.IMSEntityType'.
