"Invalid authorization specification" launching Controller, caused by corrupt/invalid database connection (UDL file)

Troubleshooting


Problem

User launches Controller client. User selects database. An error immediately appears.
Problem only affects one/some database connections. If a user chooses a different database connection, then it works OK.
