Internet Access error when attempting to use SPSS Statistics Trial

Troubleshooting


Problem

When attempting to use my IBM SPSS Statistics Trial version, I'm receiving the following error
"IBM SPSS Statistics trial requires access to the internet. Please connect and try again."

Cause

IBM SPSS Statistics Trial requires an active internet connection to function.
Ensure your network cable is not unplugged or that your wifi is not disabled.

Resolving The Problem

If you require access to the SPSS Statistics software but cannot connect to the internet, you can license the paid Statistics monthly Subscription, which does allow a 14 day offline period.
If you have no internet connection at all, we have traditionally licensed SPSS Statistics software as an alternative. Please contact an IBM representative to receive information on this (use a machine with internet connection) via the IBM
Statistics product page and by choosing the Let's Talk option.
