Problem
You may encounter the following error Error 500 - Internal Server Error: access#invalidtoken when running a BROS (Birt Report Only Server) enabled configuration. Typically this is caused when a Maximo user runs a report, logs out of Maximo, and logs back in as a different user - without first closing the browser. For example: When running reports from the same machine, with two different user ids, the second time, an error message is displayed : Error 500 - Internal Server Error: access#invalidtoken Steps to reproduce the issue: - log in with USER1, go to the Work Order Tracking application, list a few records and run the Work Order List report. The report is displayed correctly. - sign out - log in with USER2, go to the Work Order Tracking application, list a few records and run the Work Order List report. An error message is displayed. Not only do you need to close the Report Viewer, but you must also close the browser window that is being used for Maximo.
Symptom
Intermittent errors appear for users running reports
Error showing on the screen is " Error 500 - Internal Server Error: access#invalidtoken".
