Intermittent 'Unexpected error ... [NullPointerException] null' error using Command Center

Problem

Intermittent error when running a Reconcile report from Command Center. More Details: In general, user probably finds that after opening 7 (or more) forms (after each other), and then run a 'Reconcile' report, the reconcile report will crash with an error message.

Symptom

Example:

  • User clicks "Company - Command Center". User clicks tab 'Company' and enters some parameters.
  • User clicks 'Show' button. User clicks Expand Task (Form). User selects a company, and right-clicks and selects 'Reconcile the Groups or Companies', then clicks 'Run'
  • Afterwards, user closes the 'Reconcile-Between Accounts/Opening Balances' window.
  • User selects the cell for the form and company, then right-clicks and selects 'Open the Form'.
  • User repeats the above step several (for example 7) times, for several different forms.
  • Afterwards, user goes back to the company and re-runs 'Reconcile-Between Accounts/Opening Balances. An error appears.
