Intermittent Retrieve to Cache Failed errors when opening documents with FileNet IDM Web Services

Troubleshooting


Problem

When opening documents located on a Filenet Image Services server using IDM Web Services, intermittently the document may fail to open with a Retrieve to Cache Failed error.

Symptom

WAL log entries may look something like:


    8/13/2009 8:14:41 AM     GetCachedFile(1) for DocId=123456789 caused an error: Retrieve to cache failed.
