Abstract

This manual explains the purpose and usage of the RESTful API as an alternative to other
management interfaces for either the IBM FlashSystem 840 or the IBM FlashSystem 900. The
target audience of this document are application programmers advanced in knowledge of client
to server interactions.

Content

The Application Programming Interface (API) consists of commands used to retrieve and modify
information about the system. These commands are governed by the Representational State
Transfer (REST) model.
