Problem
This document describes and provide instructions to solve the following error: BMXAA0266E - Not a valid commodity code.
Symptom
The error above happens when trying to update an ITEM with a new Commodity Code via MIF ( Maximo Integration Framework )
In this particular case, the Commodity Code is valid and the ITEM record can be properly updated using the Maximo UI, in the Item Master application.
