Summary
Kubernetes is an open-source framework that automates the deployment, management and scaling of container-based applications, such as Docker containers. For IBM Z and IBM LinuxONE Kubernetes can be installed in either manage-from or manage-to configurations. This paper is based on experiences using the Kubernetes kubeadm installation toolkit to install Kubernetes in both manage-from and manage-to configurations, and identifies the issues encountered and resolutions used to enable a successful installation.
