Abstract
This document informs the user how to install Cognos with the new repository extracting software.
Content
- Download the IBM Cognos Analytics 11.1.x Installer, the 11.1.x Server repository and the 11.1.x Client repository (optional).
- Run the IBM Cognos Analytics Installer exe file (you do not need to extract the zip files of the server or client repositories).
- Wait for the installer to start.
- Select a language.
- When prompted, select the server package by navigating to the download location and opening the file.
- Continue through with Cognos installation.
- (optional) Repeat with client repository to install Framework Manager, Dynamic Query Analyzer and/or Lifecycle manager.
