What is the guidance to install a Rational® Software Delivery Platform (SDP) desktop product, including its updates, by using the IBM® Installation Manager? This technote provides steps for a simultaneous install and update by using Rational Application Developer version 7 (RAD) as an example product. After completing the installation you will have installed your version 7.x product without having had to install v7.0 and the v7.x Update separately, avoiding a two-step process.
