To see if the Advanced Job Scheduler (AJS) is already installed on your IBM i, type the command Display Software Resources (DSPSFWRSC) on the command line, and look for 5770JS1 in the list. The latest version of the AJS product is currently 7.2. This is the version you will see as installed on any of the currently supported releases of the OS which are 7.3, 7.4, 7.5, and 7.6. The Advanced Job Scheduler (AJS) is shipped on the install media with every OS. It can be found on the B_GROUPx_04 DVD. To install it, you can use GO LICPGM, Option 11.
