Contact Build Forge technical support with the following information."

Symptom

New installation of IBM Rational Build Forge on UNIX or Linux systems with an Oracle database backend fails to completely start with the following error presented to the browser.

The Build Forge system user interface had encountered an error from which it could not recover. Contact Build Forge technical support with the following information.
Note: Verifying all installation configuration are appropriate for the installation turn out as expected.

Under the php error logs, the following error is recorded.

There is something wrong with your system - please check that LD_LIBRARY_PATH includes the directory with Oracle Instant Client libraries in /opt/buildforge/webroot/includes/BFDB/DB_oci8.php on line 209
