Summary
A user installation fails and causes shell scripts like startManager.sh to fail by the removal of symbolic links in "java/bin". The initial error found might be caused by root or another user that performed maintenance. To recover, restore the symbolic links and change file ownership on the installation path or file path in the error message and run the installation once more.
