Install and Uninstall the Rational Logiscope integration with Microsoft Visual .NET 2005

Rational Logiscope integration is available with Microsoft Visual .NET 2003 and Microsoft Visual .NET 2005.

To install Rational Logiscope Microsoft Visual .NET 2005 integration follow the steps listed below:

1. Select installation from the Start menu -> All Programs -> IBM Rational -> IBM Rational Tools -> IBM Rational Logiscope 6.6 -> Visual C++ .NET Integration

2. Select the required items (add-ins) from the 'Logiscope / Microsoft Visual C++ .NET Integration dialog box.

Note: If more than one version of Microsoft Visual C++ .NET is installed (choose the Microsoft Visual C++ .NET environment with which the integration is to be installed)

3. Click Install and select OK on the success prompt for the integration.

To uninstall the integration of Rational Logiscope from Microsoft Visual .NET 2005 follow the steps listed below:

1. Open Microsoft Visual .NET 2005

2. From the Tools menu select External Tools option

3. From the External Tools window select each of the below listed Logsicope items and hit the delete button.

• Logiscope Studio
• Edit Logiscope configuration file
• Build Logiscope Audit results
• Build Logiscope RuleChecker results
• Build Logiscope Instrumented binary

4. Click on the close button

5. Exit Microsoft Visual .NET 2005
