InitialDirContext causes UnresettableEvent when using LDAP with CICS TS 3.1 or lower

Troubleshooting

Problem

Your Java™ application is calling InitialDirContext to create a new initial context. This results in an UnresettableEvent. Therefore, a new Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is being built every time your Java transaction is run. This results in a 9 second response time. You are using a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) server for the Java Naming and Directory Interface™ (JNDI) .
