Problem

Instead of ZMENU a blank screen is displayed after a new install.

Cause

Screen space member(s) missing from datasets concatenated to //RKxxPROC DD where xx is the 2 character product code, for example RKO2PROC for OMEGAMON XE for DB2.

Resolving The Problem

If you log on to classic and the first screen is blank, then member ZMENU is (most likely) missing from your OMEGAMON PROC library.

Verify that your classic (collector) started task JCL has the OMEGAMON PROC libraries concatenated to the //RKxxPROC DD. In case of an SMP Sharing RTE it should have &rhilev.RKxxPROC and &hilev.TKxxPROC concatenated. In case of a full RTE it should have &rhilev.RKxxPROC concatenated. For a full RTE also verify that all members from &hilev.TKxxPROC have been copied to &rhilev.RKxxPROC. If some or all members are missing, then there was a problem with the RTE load job (job not run or dataset/directory too small). xx stands for the 2 character product code, for example RKO2PROC for OMEGAMON XE for DB2.

Usually this problem can be resolved by re-executing RTE load in ICAT.

Another possibility is, that you have changed your first screen through the OPTN command and the first screen member is missing from the &rhilev.RKxxPROC library. In this case try to logon using one of the default profiles (/I or /C). LOGON APPLID(aaaaaaa) DATA(USER=/C).
