Problem
When a term has a steward assigned, and you want to remove this steward and at the same time add a custom attribute of type relationship to steward, the error message is displayed.
Resolving The Problem
Run these two operations separately. First, remove the steward and save the changes. Then, add custom attribute and save the changes.
