Abstract

IBM WebSphere MQ and IBM WebSphere MQ for z/OS can be used with, or as an alternative to, the default messaging provider that is included with WebSphere Application Server Version 6.1.

This document describes the levels of WebSphere MQ queue manager that can be connected to using the WebSphere MQ messaging provider included with the application server. It also contains information on which versions of the WebSphere MQ Client can be used with WebSphere Application Server Version 6.1, together with the levels of queue manager that an application server configured to use different levels of the WebSphere MQ Client can connect to.
