Abstract

The IBM FileNet P8 procedure for installing Microsoft SQL Server Client on FileNet Case Analyzer is incorrectly documented in IBM Knowledge Center.

In IBM Knowledge Center, step 1 in the following IBM FileNet P8 topics is incorrect:


The step should read as follows:
  1. Install the Microsoft SQL Server Client software:
    1. Log on to the FileNet Case Analyzer server with an account that has local administrator privileges.

    2. Install the Microsoft SQL Server software by specifying the following options:

      1. In the Feature Selection window, select the following client components:

        • Client Tools Connectivity
        • Client Tools Backwards Compatibility
        • Client Tools SDK
        • Management Tools - Basic (To include Management Tools - Complete)
        • SQL Client Connectivity SDK
      2. Accept the defaults for the rest of the installation.
