Question & Answer

Question

Incorrect EANUCC Code Check Digit due to Incorrect EANUCC Code EANUCC Type Selection

Answer

Incorrect EANUCC Code Check Digit due to Incorrect EANUCC Code EANUCC Type Selection

The Incorrect EANUCC Code Check digit error that you are receiving is coming up because the EANUCC Code and EANUCC Type combination that you are selecting is not valid.?

For GTINs with a Product Type of? ?EA?, ?on the Target Market tab you will want to update the? EANUCC Code to be the 12 digit UPC and EANUCC Type to be set to ?UP? (UPC Consumer Package Code).?

For the other levels of the product hierarchy (CA, PK, DS, PL, etc.) you will want the EANUCC Code to be identical to the 14 digit GTIN and the EANUCC Type to be set to ?UK? (UPC/EAN Shipping Container Code)

If the EANUCC Code in the DCE report references and exponent (for example ?1.600820199E9?) please update the format of the data submitted so that it is in text format.
